BANASURA SMOKED PEPPER
Banasura Pepper is a fine variety of pepper with particularly large and aromatic berries, which is grown in the Indian region of Malaba, on the southwestern coast of India.
The Banasura pepper harvest begins in mid-March, when the berries are largest, ripest and most aromatic.
They are then naturally smoked with beech wood smoke.
Due to its aromaticity and the reduced harvests (which occur only once a year), it is considered a prized rarity.
How is Banasura Pepper used?
Banasura Pepper is ideal to combine with meat and fish dishes and to add to sauces, to give food a smoky spicy note.
Banasura pepper is used as it is whole, or crushed with a pestle.
