PEPPER LONG PIPPALI

Long Pepper, called "Pippali" in Sanskrit (Hindi language), is the conical fruit of the piper Longum plant, a close relative of the piper nigrum.
These inflorescences are then dried and become the spice of the same name.
Long Pepper is one of the foundations of Ayurvedic medicine and is widely used in Asian cuisine, especially in India and the Far East.
 

How is Long Hindi Pepper used?

Long Hindi Pepper has a warm and aromatic flavor, which goes very well with raw fish and meat.
Long pepper is also ideal in combination with sweet dishes, such as creams, chocolate or fruit salads.
It can be used whole or crumbled with your hands or with a mortar.
