QUINOA SEEDS

Quinoa comes from a grain that grows predominantly in the Andes.

The fact that the seeds of this plant contain a lot of starch makes it considered a pseudocereal, a carbohydrate that is used as an alternative to pasta and rice, in hypoglycemic and high-protein diets.

It is distinguished from cereals by the high content of vegetable proteins and by the total absence of gluten. It also has a low glycemic index (making it great for fighting diabetes).
It is also suitable for weaning children and for those who are allergic to nickel as it does not contain it.
It is highly appreciated for its beneficial and nutritional properties: it contains fiber and a considerable amount of minerals such as phosphorus, magnesium, iron and zinc.
