AMARANTH SEEDS
Amaranth seeds have been grown since ancient times in South and Central America.
In its territories of origin, the amaranth was defined by the Aztecs as "the mysterious grain" or "the grain of the Gods".
It is a "pseudo-cereal" with many beneficial properties and a large supply of vegetable proteins, also suitable for those intolerant to gluten (it does not contain gluten), to be cooked and seasoned as you would with couscous.

Amaranth seeds are known for their high nutritional, energetic and healing characteristics
Rich in proteins, up to 16%, with high biological value, amaranth, compared to cereals, contains twice as much lysine, an essential amino acid which almost all cereals are lacking.
It has a high content of calcium, phosphorus, magnesium and iron.
Thanks also to the high fiber content, it has an explosive effect on digestion and turnover.
Being gluten-free, Amaranth is indicated for the nutrition of those suffering from celiac disease, or with intestinal problems, but also for children during weaning.
It is conveniently often used as a base for baby food or as a prized ingredient in vegetable soups for convalescents and the elderly.
