CURRY ENGLISH MILD

The term curry does not indicate a spice but a mixture of spices.

Actually there is the curry plant, but it is a small tree whose leaves are called "curry leaves" because they are part of the preparation of some types of curry (mixtures of spices).
The most common recipe includes a mixture of many powdered spices and is therefore called "curry powder" or "curry powder".
There are many curry blends in India, but mainly 2 were brought to the West by English settlers: the English Mild blend and the Madras Hot blend.
Mild curry is the delicate version of curry, without the addition of pepper and therefore not spicy and is also called "English" as it is particularly appreciated by Westerners.
