JAPANESE SANSHO PEPPER

Pepper Sansho is the spring wild fruit of a plant of the genus Zanthoxylum (the same as the Sichuan pepper), whose grains are hand-picked with care.
It is also called "pepper flower" because it is a pepper of choice in Japanese cuisine.
It has a citrus flavor, with a spicy and slightly anesthetic aftertaste for the taste buds. It is rare and precious.
Due to its aromaticity and low yields, it is considered a prized rarity.
